About Tyddyn Llwyn

AT TYDDYN LLWYN we pride ourselves on our commitment to our park and more importantly our customers. No gimmicks or jargon, what you see is what you get. Our aim is to make sure you enjoy your stay with us.

We are situated in a large area of partially wooded countryside, nestled in a secluded location at the foot of Moel-y-Gest mountain. The privately owned park extends to some 53 acres in total, 18 acres of which are used as a touring and static caravan park. The parks' location benefits from the close proximity of the harbour town of Porthmadog, as well as the picturesque bayside village of Borth-y-Gest, both of which are within easy walking distance. Black Rock Sands (Blue Flag status 2017) is ideal for water sports and safe swimming and is just a few minutes drive away .

2017 is our 17th season here at Tyddyn Llwyn and we are continually working towards making improvements on the site, to the pitches and to the facilities. It is a never ending job and we always have plenty to do! Hopefully many of our regular visitors will have seen many for the better changes. We hope you choose Tyddyn Llwyn for your holiday and guarantee you a warm welcome and a pleasurable stay. We look forward to meeting you, whether it be for a couple of days, a week or longer. We cater for touring caravans, motor homes, tents and trailer tents. All our touring pitches have an "all-weather" surface along with electric, water and grey waste point. We also have Premium pitches available.

Our 4th year visiting. We love this site for its tranquil setting, ease of access and excellent facilities. Great for leaving the car and either walking into the town for shops or to Borth-y-Gest for the beach and bistros. Handy for all Snowdonia's attractions. Super for families and dog friendly. clinically clean throughout. Excellent food and drinks in the restaurant. 5 star in every respect and highly recommended by us. Google - August 2016

This is the third time we have been here, everyone is so helpful and kind. The wardens and all of the team work really hard and come to help whenever you need it. The site is so well kept and clean. The pub landlord and landlady are lovely and great fun to chat to and the chef prepares and makes beautiful food. We love this place and we always have a great time whatever the weather! We have just stayed a couple of days with young children (and dog), the site is safe and spotless, the facilities and shop are great, the staff are super helpful and very polite. Our children loved the little running streams and play area. We easily walked into Porthmadog and enjoyed the harbour, steam train and the very quant shops. The drive on beach is less than a 5 minute drive, perfect camping location which provides everything a family need, we will definitely be coming back, thank you for having us. Via FB - April 2016

An absolutely amazing campsite- highly recommended- child friendly. Great place for kids - plenty to do. Helpful and very friendly staff.
The showers, toilets, laundrette and washing up room were immaculate!! Via FB - July 2014

This is a great site for everyone. Plenty of spaces for tents plus all caravan pitches are hard standing with there own drainage, water & electrical point. Three toilet blocks on various locations of the site with the showers being chargeable at 50p. Play ground is ideal for the kids but with there being so much open space the kids just love it. Shop on site for the essentials plus a pub that's just started selling food at reasonable prices. Highly recommend this site for its location, cleanliness and the staff's focus of making everyone feel welcome.
