A special excursion on the Ffestiniog Railway as part of the Gregynog Festival, pausing at Coed-y-Bleiddiau Halt to see Granville Bantock’s holiday home, then spending an hour at Dduallt to take in the views and hear Paul Lewin describe the current project to restore the property. 12:15 Ticket prices: Adult £20.00, Young people £10.00. Hijinx have announced that Unity Festival, the celebrated five-day international inclusive arts event, will take place for the first time in Caernarfon from 28 June - 2 July 2017. Spectacular circus, theatre, dance and music acts will fill Caernarfon Castle, Victoria Dock, the Town Square and Galeri Arts Centre for this year's Hijinx Unity Festival, which celebrates the best inclusive and disability arts from around the world. Caernarfon will have a truly international feel this summer as performers arrive from France, Germany, Spain, Belgium and Ethiopia, as well as from across the UK and Wales. 24 & 25 June Gwyl Gerdd Snowdon Rocks Music Festival 2017

Llanberis will rock once again in June as Mike Peters hosts another Snowdon Rocks gig at The Heights. This year’s Snowdon Rocks will mark the end of Mike’s epic By Your Side Walk across North Wales. We're putting on a two day event of music and entertainment to celebrate! 2 day ticket £7 under 12s free, ALL proceeds will help support local people with cancer.

9.30am to 2pm - Porthmadog Local Produce Market is a lively market that offer, primarily produce either grown, farmed or processed by the stall holders the majority of which trade within Gwynedd. We have on offer an array of produce, from daily staples to speciality items. The market takes place on the last Saturday of every month 

24 June  Craft Fair

A beautiful range of quality handmade crafts made by the stall holders here in Snowdonia. Crafts vary each month but can include assorted ranges of Jewellery, including Swarovski, Shamballa and bezel dome pendants, photographs on Welsh slate of local scenes, handmade soap and gift sets, baby fleece snuggs and comforters, candles in various designs, framed gifts and handmade cards. Light refreshments available, children and wheelchair friendly.

25 Jun Borth-y-Gest Open Gardens Day

Borth y Gest, near Porthmadog, is a unique village centred on the picturesque Glaslyn Estuary. This will be the fourth open garden event organised by The Friends of Borth-y-Gest. A wide variety of gardens will be open, some with outstanding views. Teas, sandwiches and cakes will be available in a few places in the village. Money raised will go to Wales Air Ambulance and Hospice At Home. There will be other stalls including bric a brac, books, plants and cakes, and money raised from these will be going to the Friends of Borth-y-Gest Directions: From Porthmadog follow signs to Black Rock Sands and turn left to Borth-y-Gest after a quarter of a mile.

11.00am to 5.00pm. Maps and entry pass for all the gardens is £5.00 for adults with accompanied children free. Buy on the day from an information booth in the village carpark.

As part of the Gregynog Festival's residency in Harlech, the outstanding Armenian cellist Narek Hakhnazaryan, winner of the 2011 International Tchaikovsky Competition, plays Bach Suites and Bantock’s Sonata for unaccompanied cello.
