  • Tyddyn Llwyn Caravan & Touring Park is situated in a secluded valley at the foot of Moel-y-Gest mountain surrounded by woodland. We cater for Touring caravans, RV's, motorhomes, folding campers, trailer tents and tents with and without electric hook up. We also have privately owned static caravans.
  • The entrance from Morfa Bychan Road is clearly signed. The postcode is LL49 9UR and grid reference is SH562383 and telephone number is 01766 512205.
  • The nearest train station is Porthmadog which is 0.9 mile from the park driveway.
  • The drive up to reception is 300 metres long on a tarmac road 5 metres wide, with passing points and a 10mph speed limit.
  • Roads within the park are tarmac or crushed gravel with speed bumps and a 10mph speed limit throughout.
  • We have three shower and toilet blocks located around the park. Each has a chemical disposal point and washing up facility. The main block is situated centrally and also houses a laundrette and disabled facility accessed by a RADAR key. This block is all flat with no steps and a larger cubicle in both the men's and ladies for parent and child showering. The disabled bathroom has ample space for a wheelchair. All showers are coin operated.
  • There is parking at the main toilet block for one car.
  • All blocks clearly lit at night.
  • Reception is clearly marked with parking available and is open 7 days a week.
  • All caravan pitches are of an all weather surface (crushed slate) with electric hook up on every pitch. Some pitches have their own tap and grey waste drainage. We have electric tent pitches on grass and all weather. Non electric tents select their own spot within a large undulating grassed area.
  • Assistance with pitching on arrival is always available.
  • Parking on the grass next to your caravan/tent is permitted.
  • Fire points and drinking water taps are all marked on the site map.
  • The rubbish point is located at the top of the drive with recycling for glass.
  • Access to the shop/reception is direct from the car park. The door access width is 70cm with a very slight step down.
  • Access to the Bar has a step up onto the porch, ramp available upon request. Once inside the bar is all on one level. Access to the patio at the back is through patio doors with two steps down.

  • Porthmadog town is within walking distance, 0.5 mile down quite a steep hill.
  • A bus passes the main drive which goes both towards the beach and to town, timetables available in reception.
